I’m against ragging in all forms.
But to claim that this is based on a real incident is a bit too much for me.
1. You cant just “go” inside a morgue! Its a protected area in all hospitals/med colleges. If not, the room is always locked. Its impossible to enter the morgue without the staff knowing about it.
2. Is it so easy to separate a hand from the body? Its not a delicate “dissection”. Its cutting through bones! Impossible for students to do that.
Things have been way too exaggerated.
So you like to have fingers eh , you can take mine where ever your want, whenever you want

(over look whether it is properly implemented or not) … the seniors are scared of talking to first years (at least in my college) , they could be mistaken for ragging and expelled…….
